Today is my birthday and, as luck would have it, I don’t actually like chocolate and mint together. I don’t actively dislike it; it’s just not something I enjoy.

By some unfortunate cosmic twist, it is also National Chocolate Mint Day. I….strongly dislike the “chocolate mint” flavor combination. (As noted before, I’ve reached my mint threshold.) So you can probably guess how I feel about my birthday coinciding with such an event…
So, in protest, today will feature no mint! It shall be an all cake, all birthday, all yummy day!
