CPAP Bills, organized by Megin

candy–heart:

My boyfriend has a deviated septum and he can’t breathe when he sleeps. He needs a CPAP but his insurance, which was supposed to help with the cost, is only covering $6.40 a month. We did not know this until today, because we had not yet received a bill. Now, my boyfriend owes nearly $1000 and they are demanding $660. Frankly, we don’t have either amount. So we are trying to raise money. If you can help, that’s great, even if it’s just sharing the story.

Thank you.

I mentioned in an earlier post that I was creating said post in June 2020. I’d been working on a year’s worth of posts over a few months while I was going through chemotherapy. I finished up chemo in June 2020. During that time, I created enough posts for every day of a full year to get at least 6 posts based on a food calendar. Some of the posts did well, others did not and that’s okay. I made them because concentrating on putting together and queueing posts got me through chemo; it kept my mind off of chemo. The year of posts is coming to an end. May 31st is the last day of pre-made posts that I created in April-June of last year.

However, on May 6th of this year, I found out that my cancer is back. I didn’t even get a full year of being “cancer-free”. My doctor told me that treatment will be more aggressive this time. I don’t yet know what that treatment will be, but if I can, I will likely use the time to create and queue up (well, I’ll put them in my drafts) another assortment of posts. My current plan is to create them based on this video and others like it. I don’t know if I’ll be up to doing it, given the more aggressive nature of my coming treatment, but that’s the plan.

Thanks for indulging me in this project over the last year and, hopefully, going forward.
