Kumquat appreciation : 1 / 2 / 3 / 4 / 5 / 6 / 7 / 8 / 9

The first time I ate a kumquat, I didn’t know I was eating a kumquat. I was about 11 years old and living Florida.  One of my neighbors had this tree, in their front yard, on which were growing what looked like little oblong oranges. I picked one and tried to peel it…and realized that it was just unnecessary…so I popped the whole fruit in my mouth. It was fantastic.  I highly recommend them.
