I wouldn’t call this strictly vegetarian, but ovo-lacto-vegetarian, maybe? (In reference to the tag “vegetarian” on the post I reblogged. I try to keep tags unless they’re rude or strictly personal or something. I just wouldn’t call this vegetarian but I’ll leave that t you.)

I’ve heard so many names for this! I just call it the egg in toast thing.
This food is definitely 100% called “Toad in the Hole”. Bf makes them for me when I’m feeling extra sorry for myself and ask in the Sad Voice, “Will u make me toads in holes?”
OR egg in a basket.
Heathens. These are clearly camels’ eyes.
OR yummy yummy grilled egg breads.
Some call it toad in the hole, but traditionally that dish has sausage and Yorkshire pudding batter.
My family called this egg in a nest, but there are TONS of different names for it.
